Kristin Reiber Harris has been an exhibiting artist for over 40 years. Her work has been exhibited at various venues including the Hermitage Museum, Norfolk, VA, Cheney Cowles Memorial Museum in Spokane, Washington, David Adamson Gallery, Washington, DC, Gallery K, Washington, DC, McLean Project ofthe Arts, McLean, VA., Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, Academy Center of the Arts, Lynchburg, VA. and Marymount University, Arlington, VA. Her work has been broadcast on HBO Family and screened in numerous film festivals including the Chicago Children’s Film Festival and the Museum of Radio and Television Children’s Film Festival. She is a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and received the Seed Fund Grant from Women in Film & Video. As a teaching artist,she has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts Artist-in-the-Schools and has many years of college level teaching experience, most recently 9 years at the University of Lynchburg. Harris received an MFA in Printmaking from George Washington University and a BA in Fine Arts from UCLA. She recently relocated to Brooklyn after many years in VA/DC area.
